I love finding new authors that I can enjoy! The newest find is Emily Windsor and her book An Earl in Wolf’s Clothing. I enjoyed the book. This is the first book in a series Rules of the Rogue and I am looking forward to reading more books in this series!Miss Sophie Beckford has put up with six seasons in London and she is done. The noise, confusion, and pretenses have driven her mad. She is ready to leave London and has decided on marrying Bram, Earl of Kelmarsh. She feels for him as he seems to be always laid back, sleepy and doesn’t seem to be present, but he too longs for the country. Sophie is hopeful until she needs to find him and overhears a conversation that she misinterprets, and so the story begins.That is when things get complicated. Bram, the Earl of Kelmarsh is a spy. He is from a family of spies and it is all he knows. What is overheard is Bram attempting to avoid a certain spy trying to force him back into her net. Sophie leaves and suddenly Bram is left behind. A year later, when Sophie returns Bram, with the dubious help from friends and acquaintances tries to get Sophie to trust him and marry him.Having well rounded and delightful characters just made the story better. I was glad that Sophie had the gumption (and family backing) to stand up for what she wanted. Sophie’s cousin Aideen was a hoot. Bram’s background really made opening up a hazard, so watching his character grow (and grovel) made him more likable.An Earl in Wolf’s Clothing by Emily Windsor was a fun read.

I loved this book. I haven’t laughed so many times during a read in a long time. These characters were hysterical. Finished it in two days. I also thought it was romantic. The hero, Bram, was persistent, which was pretty hot; even I thought the heroine should have given in at some points (smile). However, it was nice to read about a heroine that didn’t gasp and utterly fall into the hero’s arms at every word and touch. But, there were times when she was stubborn, yet it worked for her. This was my first time reading a book by this author. I believe I will try the second book in this series, since it continues on with the other interesting and hysterical characters from the first book.

This is the first book in an (apparently) 4 part series. The author has a really good grasp of story telling and a good ear for dialogue. The characters are interesting, the plot is fast moving, and I really enjoyed the book. I have also read book 1.5 and book 2 (both are reviewed separately) and am eagerly awaiting book 3 which should be published soon.I agree with another reviewer who said that this author made me sit up and take notice. I look forward to reading her next book!

Another great read by this author. She has a great style of writing that brings the pages to life. You will not be disappointed. Each character is cultivated to bring the entire story to life, you want to join them in the adventure. Highly recommended.

This was another very good romance novel set in the early 1800's. An Earl wanting to leave the spy business because it is ruining his chance at love

it was a nice entertaining book. I liked the characters, the secondary characters almost more than the h/H. There isn’t a lot of drama or suspense, but a sweet enjoyable story. The end was to abrupt and I really would have liked an epilogue.

You can't find better Regency romance than this series. Emily Windsor is a fabulous author and so very enjoyable. You will laugh out loud and just enjoy the heck out of this romping romance/adventure. Bram and Sophie are great characters, fully fleshed out. We enjoy their ups and downs, as well as those of their stalwart friends. I'm so thrilled that finally the third book is coming out!! Keep up the great work, Emily!

Happy to discover this author, have read other books by her since Book one. I actually enjoyed Book two more. Well written, definitely keeps your attention.

I stumbled across her lessons on YouTube and learned so much, I just had to buy her book! The book is very informative and helpful, especially the chapter on writing lyrics.

She's a great instructor and teaches in a very easy to understand manner. I've been able to take my songwriting to the next level

Andrea is an excellent teacher and this ebook seems to cover everything about songwriting however I am disappointed the audio samples will not play on my Android phone. If anyone has any insight about this please comment.

Definitely a really good book for any musicians who want to write music. Berklee made it extremely easy to learn how to write music and it definitely helped me. If you're looking to learn how to write music this it perfect for you!

I love Andrea’s heart. There are a lot of gold nuggets in this book. As expensive as Berkelee is, I appreciate the inexpensive options like books and free courses.

Andrea is a thoroughbred educator, musician and word-smith who unselfishly shares her experience and knowledge with all, novitiate or seasoned, who dare to follow the dream of music. A must read.

This book has really given me an amazing insight into songwriting. It’s one of those books that you can’t read once because of the wealth of information it contains. Such a great read! I would recommend this book to anyone passionate about music.

Excellent. However not for the blind American Exceptionalism fanatic who does not accept economic facts that takes the patriotism edge off the historic inculcation of our society (probably the reason there are few modern versions of this work). The study is strictly about economic considerations of the "founding fathers" (state by state and wealth by wealth, debtors and creditors) who needed to shore up the safety of their wealth and power. Explains how the Constitutional Convention came about (without an effective delegate process), how the economic structures were involved (personalty/real estate ; farmers; manufacturers; trades; etc.). My opinion: should be history classes in upper high school especially in AP History. After reading this I understand why certain states are attacking AP history to censor knowledge. I am an 8 year USN, Viet Nam era veteran. I love my country. But I also know that the suppression of historical fact disables any ability to solve current and future problems. Loved this OLD book.

The book itself is an intriguing look at the Constitution as well as the early 20th century view of the body politic. It's a shame that the Kindle edition reviewed here was such a poor copy. Do not go Kindle with this one. People buying a paper-back copy had a much easier time reading the material and understanding the footnotes. Something lost in the Kindle edition which placed the footnotes in the same size font and without line break to distinguish this information from the text. An important, controversial work of economic history - an important addition to any historian's library. Just not this edition.

I first reviewed the book thirty-five years ago when when I was completing my undergrad degree in Business Administration. Two years later I completed my Grad (Masters) degree in Economics, but because of my constant moving around I lost track of the book. However, I could not forget the impression I got from my initial review of how the architects of the U S Constitution was comprised of the Rich, Powerful, and Educated class (and some slave owners) all of whom had a personal interest as to how theU S Government was to be formed, and managed. With the exception of Slave owners, nothing has changed. If it were not for the right to vote, the common citizens (not rich, powerful, or well educated) are just pawns on the Chess Board of our society. Thank God there are no Slave Owners (?). Maybe after I finish reading the book from cover to cover for the second time I may have a different point of view, but I don't think so. Charles A Beard has made some interesting revelations. Maybe, if more Americans would review this book, they would have a better understanding of how our government works or at least who runs it.Herbert J Bailey

A wonderful economic treatise on the underlying motives of the founding fathers and politics of colonial times. Should be a reference guide to high school classes on political science!

I'm not sure this is the edition of Beard's book that I bought.It was a little tedious when he goes through the details man by man, but it is the detail that makes this worth reading. Overall I would recommend this book to anyone interested in the Constitution. He supports his theory with considerable documentation. I had no idea that so many people were against ratifying the Constitution.

This is a excellent book to consider if you desire to have a greater knowledge of the details of the members, at least those who were allowed to participate, at the Continental Congress.All of the information is cited and well presented. It is also extremely topical today as the debates still rage over what the Founding Fathers truly intended for our Republic.Many Conservatives and Libertarians mistakenly reference this book as the reason for the the dominance of free market economics in our politics but the book clearly refutes that premise and instead clearly presents the historical reality of how special interests, as described by Mr. Beard as the holders of scripts, or debt as we now call it, and their efforts suppress the will and efforts of the free holders, or the subsidence farmers, of any real influence at the Convention and the individual state elections to ratify the proposed Constitution.It is also a well established fact that these very same men wanted to shape a English style parliamentary style government here in the colonies, that would prevent any sudden or rapid changes ignited by the people to occur.Fast forward to today and if you care about our country, no matter what your political beliefs or delusions are, you should read this book and hopefully experience a reality check.As Mark Twain once said 146 years ago "These lobbyists are called our invisible government in Washington, with headquarters on Wall Street. The rich corporations have to be shielded and protected in the Congress, and this requires vast sums of money to keep their political party in power. And they understand that the members of Congress did not get elected to serve their country for nothing. There are a lot of poor people in the Congress, every Congress, and they need looking after. They’re an expensive lot."It painfully clearly that frame work of this system occurred at the inception of our country, a frame work driven by self interests. It is also clear that the US Constitution is not written to only benefit the rich and powerful but it is how they, the special interests, interpreted it and ultimately manipulate us, the electorate, to accept.As much now as back then we must all stand for liberty and justice if we are truly to reach a more perfect union, but we must not accept that the needs of few never outweigh the needs of the many.Or consider this.John Adams once said this' “I have come to the conclusion that one useless man is a disgrace, that two become a lawfirm, and that three or more become a congress.”

This is by no means and “advanced” c++ book. The book starts off by introducing classes. It has VERY basic examples. The chapters cover topics that nearly all beginner books cover. At the end it simply has containers and lists their functions...there are entire dedicated very well made websites that show you every feature with examples of c++ containers. The font size must be size 16 and the book is more like and oversized pocket book. Do not buy if you are looking for an advanced book. Go buy Scott Meyers book.

Nathan Clark's finishing touches on C++ programming offer an interesting guide on those wanting to further polish their knowledge on programming this way.It is suggested that you read and follow the other two books in Nathan's step-by-step approach.Being a dabbler in programming, I was able to comfortably navigate into a different area wirh Nathan's expert guidance. I read Mr. Clark's two other books on this topic and I was not disappointed. As a novice slowly gaining more and more knowledge, I found this book to be easy to understand, even though it contains some very advanced programming features. I highly recommend his entire series, especially for those with minimal programming knowledge.

Nathan Clark has the amazing talent to communicate on a basic level. In programming and the multiple languages is just that. A different language. He acts as your very own Rosetta stone. I have started with his two other introduction guides for C++ and C#. They were very good lead-ins to the more advanced book. I didn’t lose one step as I made the transition. If your already an intermediate level of programming. This book will help you improve your current standing. Highly recommend!
