This course is simply amazing! Anyone who is serious about learning self hypnosis and using it would probably find this a favorite treasure. Crafted with such caring. LOADED with valuable and easy to learn information. Great hypnosis techniques, great hypnosis CDs. I really feel like this author sincerely cares about me and wants to help me. A very interesting course, fun! This is one of my favorite possessions now...which is saying a lot! I've seen a lot of improvement in myself, and look forward to much more. The hardest part for me was to learn to just let go, stop trying, and just allow the changes to happen. Who would have guessed?I also highly recommend 'Hypnosis House Call' also by Steven Gurgevich, (and make sure you buy one with the DVD included). As a former investigative journalist who used to work on his hometown newspaper in Tucson it wasn't difficult to find out that here is a man who knows and is not out to just make a fast buck. He really does "teach" in this course rather than "preach."I have never met a person who would not benefit from some counseling, therapy, or introspection. Dr. Gurgevich does just that, he guides you to learn more about yourself and to make beneficial changes, sometimes dramatic changes, in your "self."His association with the University of Arizona School of Medicine, Dr. Andrew Weil, and the UA School of Integrative Medicine with Dr. Weil speak highly of Dr. Gurgevich. To read his CV (resume) it is easy to see this is not some johnny-come-lately out for your money. If you decide to own his course, and I hope you will, please do not consider it an expense - it is an investment and you will see dividends for a long, long time.

The instructional material is literally the state of the art. It solves the major problem with self-hypnosis tapes or CD's, in that any procedure will induce trance in about 80% of the clients/listeners, but they are not the same 80%. In hypnotherapy, if the therapist sees that one procedure isn't working he switches to another technique until he finds what does work well. I have never known a client to notice as this will only take a minute or two.Gurgevich encourages the listener to ignore what he is saying if the listener likes another induction better, by this time you will be familiar with a wide variety and know what works best for you. This does several things at once and, as I don't want to be accused of showing a magician stuffing a rabbit up his sleeve, I will only comment that this effortlessly moves the listener over the obstacle he might have had trying to "ride two horses at once" when they work on their own. (The author really moves the listener into doing their own tapes which keeps them from becoming "tied to the tape.")I would recommend going back and listening to the instruction CD's several times as there is more there than you will notice the first time. Gurgevich is a real sneaky son of a gun which is the highest complement a hypnotherapist can receive.If you are already experienced in hypnosis, you will love this material. Even when you are familiar with what he is doing, his aesthetic choices are delightful. I have 35 years experience and found this to be a real treat. There is a lot here that most people won't notice but you will love.If you are interested in learning hypnosis, this would be an excellent place to start.

This is an excellent product for the beginner in hypnosis. If you haven't had any previous experience or education with hypnosis, I would highly recommend this. I, however, did not actually want all the education. I just wanted the hypnosis CD's, which are actually very good. You can even use this information to make your own personal recording.

I loved this course. Purchased it many years ago and keep returning to it time and again. I've purchased numerous other courses and various meditation CDs, quite a large number of them, but this remains my favorite. The instructional CDs really teach how to "own" your self-hypnosis and how/why it works. The guided sessions, of which there are many, provide the content for you to work with, making change and self-care truly possible in many areas: stress management, weight-loss, good sleep, etc., etc.. All too often, I feel somewhat lost or adrift after listening to audio courses...the information might be fascinating but how to apply it isn't clear...or the instruction given is weighted down in jaron or confusing concepts...but this course truly provides all the step-by-step instruction and tools necessary for success. Because the material is grounded in many years of working with patients, Dr. Gurgevech is clearly a master of his subject and knows how to be a first rate teacher. He also has a very subtle and unassuming voice, which is pleasant and easy to listen to. He somehow manages to leave out any intrusive or annoying ego...probably because he comes from a truly sincere place of concern for those he is teaching to heal themselves. Wonderful work but a remarkable teacher.

Worth’s Income Tax Guide For Ministers: 2012 Edition was written by Beverly J. Worth in 2011. Mrs. Worth is a graduate of Calvary Bible College and is the founder and owner of Worth Financial Service. She is an Enrolled Agent and Certified Tax Practitioner; she first authored this publication 1973 and has revised it every year since then. From pave v. in the forward, Mrs. Worth’s declared goals are, “…to teach ministers how to keep their taxes to a minimum and to maximize their earning power.” There are several testimonials on the back cover as well as on page 136 from ministers, lawyers and tax practitioners; as well as people who have attended one or more of Mrs. Worth’s seminars; who all declare that she is a recognized authority on taxes and that she greatly helped them with her seminars and tax publications. As an income tax guide, Mrs. Worth organized the book similar to a manual and many of the 144 pages show the reader what the tax forms look like. The author puts these facsimiles of the forms to good use, explaining to the reader how to properly complete these IRS forms. This is a very helpful tool. The numerous references to the various tax codes and tax laws are very helpful as well. Mrs. Worth states in the forward that the purpose for adding these references was to give the reader confidence and this goal is achieved satisfactorily. Another strength of Worth’s Income Tax Guide for Minister’s is that it is laid out in a fashion that attracts the reader’s (presumably those involved in vocational ministry) attention. The very first chapter involves fringe benefits, certainly something even the most pious Christian would be curious about. The author then explains housing allowances in chapter two, and professional expenses in chapter three. All of these areas are difficult to understand, and Mrs. Worth does a remarkable job explaining why minister’s must do taxes different and how the government taxes ministers differently, but explains it in a way that is non-threatening and easy to understand, emphasizing the benefits as opposed to any disadvantages. In chapter four the author tackles the mystery of social security for religious workers. In this chapter she diligently explains the computation of social security base, as well as social security exemption and the “new belief” opportunity. Another section of this chapter that is especially helpful to ministers is the part on retirement planning. Mrs. Worth aptly explains mutual funds, annuities and helpfully summarizes the differences between unqualified and qualified investment options. She is neutral in her explanation of the investment options; simply explain what they mean and how much a minister may contribute to the different plans. Chapter five explains tax laws for missionaries serving overseas. This is a very short chapter and would not be applicable to a reader serving stateside. The author includes a helpful discussion of form 2555 and form 2555-EZ and suggests that the reader study IRS publication 54, as it contains more in-depth information for overseas missionaries. Chapters six and seven cover completed payroll reports and completed income tax returns. The majority of chapter seven is comprised of sample income tax returns, which is very helpful to reader, who may use these samples as a guide when filling out their respective returns. Every type of return that a minister may file is listed and these visual aids are very helpful. The careful reader will gain a great understanding of tax laws and policies for ministers after a careful study of this book. The most significant feature of Worth’s tax guide is the comprehensive interaction with tax codes and laws as they pertain to the vocational minister. The support from the quotations of applicable tax laws and the repeated references to the IRS manuals and forms were a great asset to the book. This demonstrates that the author knew what she was talking about and the careful reader could look up the references directly on the Internal Revenue Service website, where IRS publications are made available. Another significant feature is the positive attitude the author has towards the IRS, and she stresses and attitude of cooperation on page 97. It is easy to look at the government in general and the IRS in particular with an attitude of mistrust and antagonism. The positive light Mrs. Worth sheds on the revenue branch of the U.S. government was refreshing. This reader will recommend this book to any minister who has questions about taxes and retirement for those in vocational ministry. It will also be recommended to those who have questions as far as investing for retirement and who are uncertain about the different investment options related to ministers retirement. The book is a wide-ranging survey of how taxes work for those in ministry and is valuable to anyone who would like a better understanding of this subject.

I have used B.J. Worth's tax guide ever since it was a small 1/2 page booklet and now has grown into a major volume. I have run into "expert" tax service companies who know nothing about clergy and minister's taxes and this book gives them a full education on the special situations of clergy as well as the extra deductions available. Worth has been THE leader in clergy taxes and there is not a tax guide on the market that can compare to her publication and the services her company provides over the telephone (although rumor has it now that she has retired and sold her company to another group that does not provide the phone consultations...that would be a huge loss). But, the book can help any group set up their books, run their quickbooks with ease for clergy and avoid any questions. A MUST BUY for any minister.

I’m so glad I purchased this audibook. I have not read the original Servant Leadership book but, the chapters included in here give such a well rounded view that I really get the idea of Servant Leadership. In fact, I can’t imagine learning about this approach to leadership without the examples of putting the concept into action. The variety of authors also allowed for different approaches to show “one size does not fit all”. It also demonstrates that servant leadership can be applied in all types of businesses, agencies, schools, and non-profits of all sizes. This concept is not exclusive to churches or social change agencies there is benefit in one way or another for everyone.This book also introduced me to other authors and presenters that I have not heard of otherwise.

Get this book. Just do yourself a life-affirming favor and get it. I normally do not like edited books with many contributors since I prefer the continuity of thought and intent that comes from a single author but this is clearly an exception. It contains powerful perspectives from people who have "been there and done that" and I mined value from each essay. As someone who teaches, trains, and coaches on leadership development, this work should be on your leadership bookshelf or in your device.

This is a good primer on horse training. Tons of great training information that is good for all stages of horse training. Some of the information about horse behavior (especially dominance) is outdated, BUT John's techniques and anectodal education is still pretty solid. If you were thinking about going the Parelli way, you'll be better off sticking to John Lyons.

I got this book because I had been observing a trainer who was working with horses where I board my horse. He is a certified John Lyons trainer. I was fascinated by how the horses were listening and learning. He recommended the book to me. I don't have an issue with my horse, but was curious. So I've been reading it and using some of the techniques so I'm clearer in my communication with her. And what I found was that my sweet mare listens more closely and is more focused on what I want her to do. The changes are subtle. But it's interesting how well this training as resonated with her. I've also used Monty Roberts and Linda Tellington methods. They each have a place for training and relationship building. But I am especially impressed by John Lyon's methods through this book.

This book is very well written and easy to understand. While Mr. Lyons is undeniably a western rider, his techniques are just as applicable to my dressage horses. Over the past few weeks I have seen wonderful improvement in the responsiveness and demeanor of all of the horses in my training program by instituting the mindset that Mr. Lyons outlines in this book.

John Lyons is great for starting horses or working with older ones. This book is an older edition, but the philosophy is the same, soft and gentle, understand things from the horse's point of view, don't fight, you will never win. A better horse is willing and eager to be your partner.

This is a great book! I have had horses for over 40 years and can't dispute anything! His philosophies should be used by school teachers, parents and any kind of children's coach, soccer or any sport! Lots of wisdom and common sense.

This book arrived quickly and was this cheapest I could find it! I got this book to give me ideas on working with a yearling colt for the next year until he can start being broke to ride. I like his style of training and my colt responded well to the style as well.

I like the philosophy. Helped me realize even though i am much smaller than my horse I can control her with an understanding of her psychology. Also I need to be consistent and work with her daily.

Loved this book, straight forward and concise, with enough detail to help me with changing some old habitsGreat for anyone looking to improve with their horse.

I have been a real estate agent for a dozen years. There is a big difference in this field today, compared to 2005 when I got my license. The information provided in "Listing Boss" is very useful to the new agent or the experienced agent. To catch up on the latest advice about how to become a successful real estate agent I have purchased more than a dozen books--this one is one of the best! The first few chapters focus on attitude and how new agents can get started, while the rest of the book focused on how to gain listings, always a problem. The tips provided by Hoss Pratt are well worth the price of the book. For 30+ years I was an editor, Pratt's style is excellent, the information provided is very helpful and when implemented should provide every reader with information that will increase their income.Chapter Six on Deploying a Marketing Arsenal outlines marketing information that will put the reader ahead in even the most competitive market. The chapter describes how to gain listings using: A performance guarantee; An easy exit agreement; An 89-point marketing plan; A smart-seller program; A communications guarantee; and a certified pre-owned program. You will have to buy the book to get the details, each topic is described at length and in my opinion is invaluable.BTW, the first copy I received had printing problems. The author sent a replacement copy right away and it is perfect.

Set yourself up for success with "Listing Boss"! This is a great read with some solid guidance. I am new to real estate and the world of sales and I am highly impressed. Oddly enough I had completed a real estate training class (unrelated to Listing Boss) just a few days before ordering this book. What I realized as I was reading and listening to Hoss's videos is this - the training was great but it only takes you so far. I had to tweak it to make it work...I was missing a few pieces/steps. "Listing Boss" helped me see what I was missing. For instance, the training taught me scripts for going after FSBOs and Expireds, but what's beyond the initial script? It assumes I get the listing on the first call. This is not realistic. And I hear other agents ask ' how long do you continue to call' or 'what do I say on the 4th call back to them' or ' I called and followed up with a call'. As Hoss points out, most agents stop calling after the 2nd call. If you want to separate yourself from the masses, and set yourself up for success, this is a must read! See you at the TOP!

This is one of my best reads for a Real Estate book! I've been in the business for over 7 years now and have read many different kinds of Real Estate related books, and this one blows them out of the water! The word "Blueprint" in the title is the perfect word to describe this book! If you're just starting out in the business or have been selling Real Estate for multiple years, you'll find tremendous value in the content that Hoss shares in his book. I truly look forward to reading through it again to make sure I didn't miss anything. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to be more structured in the fast-pace Real Estate game!

I can't believe you can buy this book for under $500. The information in this book must be worth millions of dollars. I'm a new agent and this was recommended to me by Amazon and I'm so glad it was. This book really is the definitive blueprint for success. It lays out everything a new agent (or experienced agent without a system) needs to get up and running with a plan. The book doesn't do the work for you, but it gives you the framework so you can go to work to prosper instead of going to work to work.

Buy this book! Well worth the money. Whether you are a seasoned agent or a new (especially new) agent there are precise strategies to put into action, laid out by Hoss in Listing Boss. I've been a Realtor for the last few years and for many years before was in a related industry. Over the years I have read many of the top books, taken many seminars, webinars, classes etc. so I was very pleased that Hoss shared some exact methods and techniques he uses in this book. Many books just generalize and skirt around telling exact methods, leaving you to try to figure out what to do or create on your own. Read the whole book, but pay special attention to chapter 6 then chapters 8 & 9. I read it in just a few days and reading it again now. A quick read and right to the point. I can sum it up with a few words..."Pull the trigger and buy it!"My only critique would be that I have never been a fan of the first few chapters giving me a pep talk. But that seems to be the trend with all of the real estate authors.

I am an owner of 2 REMAX franchises and this book is so incredible. I am purchasing one for every agent who works for me. Hoss is an incredible business man and a real estate icon. You won’t regret this purchase.

This was a very good book. I have been in the industry for just over 4 years. The beginning was a little slow for me as it was similar to a lot of other books (i.e. getting up early, routine, doing tasks that generate value) but still a good refresher and had things that you should be conscience of on a day to day basis.After that, I thoroughly enjoyed the book and finished it in 2 days! Hoss has a lot of great, practical tips and examples that I'm actually going to start implementing today. Once finished, I felt super motivated and wrote down things I would like to change and start doing differently that what I am today. All in all, a very good book for any skill level, experience level, or title. I definitely will be reading again.
